Greg Egerton

Greg has represented New Zealand in our national butchery team ‘The Sharp Blacks’ for the past two years. He was an integral part of the 2015 winning team, and represented New Zealand again in the most recent World Butchers Challenge held in Australia in 2016.
Greg has now been in the trade for 23 years. He describes his strengths as having an eye for detail and coming up with ‘out of the box’ ideas. In addition to this he has an in-depth knowledge of food and is certainly very passionate about what he does. His favourite part about butchery is creating new products and the process of selling these to customers.
Greg currently works for Agora Butchery & Deli in Mosgiel.
