Hector’s Smoke House are the current Melbourne BBQ Festival Grand Champions 2016, they have also won 1st places in Ribs and Pork in various competitions. The team consists of chief cook Dave, his wife Karen and son Caleb. They also have guest friends that help at some of the competitions. Dave started cooking ‘low & slow’ in 2013 and has been lucky enough to taught by American Pitmasters and has visited the American Royal.
The team currently cooks on a Stumps Gravity Fed Smoker and a Yoder YS640 Pellet Cooker.
