Mike Oxley (left on the photo), owner of Uncle Mike’s the first American BBQ restaurant in New Zealand. He grew up in Kansas City, one of the epicenters of BBQ, where he learned firsthand the the secrets of excellent BBQ.
Virender Kumar (right on the photo), director and shareholder of Uncle Mike’s Kansas City BBQ. He has nine years of food and beverage experience in both India and New Zealand. He came to New Zealand five years ago and completed his degree in Hospitality Management while working with several hotels and restaurants. He established his first company in 2014 in New Zealand where he gained experience in customer service, market development, restaurant management and accounting.
