The BBQAroma brand name was the brain child of Nick Angelucci, whom turned a backyard obsession with authentic BBQ into an award winning retail experience. With humble beginnings being the first street vendor in Sydney to sell charcoal grilled lamb skewers, Nick quickly realised that there was a demand for charcoal grilling and low ‘n’ slow smoking in the Australian market.
Grilling since 2007, Nick and his wife opened their first retail store in Leichhardt in 2010 and it quickly became the “go-to” place for all things to do with charcoal, wood and anything to do with smoke. Nick these days now holds regular beginner’s cooking classes as well as running an online and bricks ‘n’ mortar retail store.
Always willing to give advice and share the love for BBQ, Nick hopes that more new friends discover for themselves what all the fuss is about when cooking outdoors.
