Roy Rose is a Singer Songwriter from the Mid North Coast of NSW. With emphasis on Blues and Folk he delivers his performances usinga mix delving into the realms of Blues & Folk music using a mix of raw and manipulated acoustic sounds.
November 2013 saw a re-entry into the musical world after an 8 year hiatus.
Since then Roy has played with and supported the likes of The Beards, Jeff Martin (the Tea Party), Tex Perkins and Charlie Owen (the Cruel Sea), Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), Sleepmakeswaves, Ben Gumbleton (Benjalu, Booseeker), King of the North, the Mason Rack Band, the Lazys, Taylor Henderson, Jai Waetford and more.
He has also been billed on such festivals as Meatstock (Sydney), Wildwood, Blues BBQ (Port Macquarie), Bitter and Twisted (Maitland), Sounds on Sunset & Port Macquarie Beer & Cider Festival.
Roy is currently working on his first Solo Ep set for release in December ’16.
